Winter conditions in the Midwest be often be in the single digits, with snow, lots of ice and driving winds making the wind chills dip far below zero. Summer temperatures often soar well over 100 degrees Fahrenheit with very high humidity for weeks at a time. The City Biddy takes it all in stride. The City Biddy provides excellent ventilation and comfort for your poultry even when the temperatures are really hot or extremely cold. The solid construction, easy mobility, and compact size makes it a warm, safe home for your hens no matter the weather!
No need to crawl around inside of a cramped pen, chores are easily accomplished from outside the coop. Large access door and exterior nest boxes make chores quick and easy, making the City Biddy suitable for even children, the elderly, or those with special needs. The City Biddy was designed to be easy and low cost to build, as well as efficient to use. Our building plan written to allow most of the major lumber cuts to be made where you purchase your materials. This simple step allows for a safer and easier build.
